Tenuta La Baronessa is an original structure dates back to 1700 , now a 4 star resort immersed in a wide area of Mediterranean vegetation and olive trees. It rises at a short distance from beautiful beaches of Salento, in the beautiful natural environment of Tuglie and it is located in a strategic position from which you can reach the main touristic places of Salento such as Gallipoli, Otranto, Santa Maria di Leuca, Lecce etc..

The building has a low environmental impact,  completely fenced, stands on 12 hectares of Mediterranean scrub. Centuries-old olive trees, plants of rosemary, sage and other fragrances, will capture your sense of smell. A walk in the park will give you unique moments in total relax. Its strategic position, in the heart of Salento, allows you to alternate moments of relax pampered by the peace of nature, to moments of adventurous attractions, of which the Ionian side of Salento is generous.

Thanks the renovation of the large and ancient farmhouse, was born a beautiful farmhouse, overlooking the pool and ten rooms from “De Luxe” to Suite size . Some rooms are characterized for the vaulted stone ceilings, others rooms are decorated with frescoes, and others equipped with a fireplace and “baldacchino”.

The 4 star hotel, with the recent renovation, has changed recently the look, enriching itself with decorations in traditional way using stone from Lecce, which give a refined touch to the structure. Among the olive trees you can find characteristic buildings that take up the architectural type of the ancient "pajare" of Salento.
